My journey with photography began back in my childhood, when I first started experimenting with my father’s classic 6x6 Agfa camera. That early spark grew into a lifelong passion, which eventually led me to pursue formal studies in old-school photography.
During that time, I spent countless hours in the quiet, red glow of the darkroom, developing film negatives and printing photos completely by hand. Working with those traditional chemical processes truly taught me how to see light, understand contrast, and practice the pure patience required to capture a deeply meaningful moment.
I’ve always loved how photography lets you jump between completely different worlds. Being an all-rounder means every day looks a little different—one moment it’s about dialing in clean high-key or moody low-key lighting for pregnancy, glamour, or corporate portraits, and the next it’s just spending time capturing pets, flora, and fauna in the wild.
That versatility stretches across all kinds of settings and life moments. Whether it’s documenting the energy of a wedding or event, quietly honoring a funeral service, or focusing on architectural lines, interior spaces, and fine macro details, the focus is simply on bringing out the best in whatever subject is in front of the lens.
Shall I capture your story next?
